so I decided to write a bit in this thing. Since I last wrote things have been going well. I'm on break til like.... the 28th or 29th. So I still have a while on vacation. I need to start subbing soon. I was supposed to start today but i didnt get any jobs on the subfinder thing. Oh well, I'm just helping mom out around the house because she bought me a shitload of stuff from target last week haha. Chistmas was good. Got the sweet camera that I wanted, thats about it. New Years was fun. Hung out will jenna and molls at their friends apartment. Jenna and Christina left for england and italy =( gonna miss them tons.

Ummmm recently? I've started the new year off with the stereotypical resolution of losing some weight, after coming back from tour i lost my tour body and thats made me sad lol. soooooooo a couple of days before new years i started using slimfast. Its actually a great thing, i love the shakes lol. So far ive lost 6 lbs, which is good I think and ive just started running again and thats kickstarted some more weight loss so im wicked excited haha.

Ummm lets see this week ive been just chillin, decided on a spur of the moment to go with meggy to visit at the january camp of ecj. I wanted to see when they were getting the rings in, and we just wanted to say hi and listen to the music. Plus meggy was able to see james again before march so that was nice. =) They are sounding good so far, i mean I'm no music major i just throw shit lol. The drumline is definately gonna be huge. I'm happy that i decided that I am going back. Its going to be a fun age out year. Plus, meggy is most likely gonna be backfield conductor so she wont break herself again doing guard so yay! I'm just gonna work on marlena, I heart her, she better come back with me!! Then last night I went over MK and Bob's place and a bunch of us all played halflife against each other. It was halarious. Such a good time.

Well, it has been FOREVER since I have updated. Lets see, ive been here at school for a while. I am having an AMAZING time by the way. Guard is okay. Its fun being a rank leader, its just kind of frustrating at times. My roomie Diane is awesome. She shares a passion for FRIENDS just like me, AND she owns like all of the seasons hehe. I've been going out every weekend which I love, I dont like to sit at home on the weekend. Just during the week when I'm rediculously tired. I actually got a job on campus. Its at the bluewall which is a food place in the campus center. I know I swore I wouldnt work with food again, but everything around campus was work study so I was stuck with this. Its not too bad, 3 hrs a day for 4 days, $7 an hour AND i get my first paycheck tomorrow YES!! Classes are okay, i do particularily like anything but I need the classes for my major so I go anyways hehe.

In guard related news, I've been wrestling around with the thought of what I am going to do for my age out summer. I was kinda hoping maybe to try a div 1 corps, i mean why not ya know? I really wish i could try for Phantom, I was seriously in love their guard this year. I think that maybe I'll go with Marielle to the YEA tryouts, I mean haha yeah right to cadets, but maybe crossmen, I mean Marielle told me and I just read in James's lj that they are getting a new director and such. It would be a lot closer.... I dont know, its all just thoughts going around in my head and I dont need to know now, but hey who knows =)

Boy situation-wise.... thats an interesting concept. lol. I mean i did hook up with this one kid on one of those weekend nights (we know what that means haha) and I thought that would just be it for me... but I've kinda grown a little attached... just because I really like talking with him, and he has these AMAZING eyes.... I just dunno. *sigh* i dont know how to get a guy..... ummm whats the word... sober? lol That sounds bad... its just that Im a lot more outgoing when I party.... altho I have been getting a lot better at like meeting people and being more outgoing this year when I'm just hanging out its just that  I'm so effin shy when it comes to guys i actually like! WHY?! someone help me please

alright kiddies well im off for 3 weeks to enjoy the wonderful life of drum corps. I'll be back either the 13th or 14th. Thats so great too cuz i have like a week or a little more before i go to band camp at umass to see all the wonderful people there! ;) I'll have my cell so feel free to call cuz there will be lots of hours spent in traffic on the bus hehe. Okay so I'm gonna try and not make this TOO long lol.

Lets see, so East Coast had their mini tour last week. It went really well I think. The first three days were all practice, practice, practice. Luckily the weather cooperated and it was pretty cloudy most of the time. On Saturday we set off for New Bedford for a parade. That was fine, then we went to Nashua NH for our second performance. It was an okay show, not personally for me, and something happened in the beginning with amazing grace and timing issues with the horns so that was a bit scary but oh well. Was walking back to the practice site to change after the show, and I saw angie from umass! That was exciting, talked to her on the 5 mile hike back lol. Ate and hurried back to the stadium to watch the other div 1 shows. On the way I saw some of Surf's guard spinning after their show and I found Marielle so I talked to her for a bit and then headed to the stadium to meet up with MArlena. On the way there I see a group of people in the parking lot waving to me... and I'm like who are those people? are they waving to me? Turns out it was marlena, lisa, sully, scheebly, and liana!! I was sooo excited when I saw liana because it took me an extra 5 minutes to figure out who she was. After me and Marlena went to watch the shows. I'm absolutely in love with Crown's guard. They are sooo good and I love the sabre work. After the show we went back to the busses and drove allllll the way to Bristol RI.

The next day we practiced at the middle school or whatever it was and I ended up like freaking out because I couldnt do some toss. We then went to the show. Marlena ended up splitting her lip with her sabre in warmups but otherwise the show was okay. Was excited to watch the Cadet's show, but didnt really get the full effect of it because we were on the side watching. There were fireworks at the end so that was fun lol. Drove back to the middle school and slept.

Monday was the 4th of July and we did a parade in Bristol RI and in Wakefield MA. The RI one was wicked fun because its a really big deal there so the people watching the parade are drunk and wicked funny. We were late getting to the Wakefield parade but we were just fit in at the end. Then we got the night off! some of us were thinking of going into boston to watch the fireworks but we didnt want to get stuck in traffic so me, marlena, meggy, erin and james just went back to erin and meggys and chilled and ate food and watched the ECJ tour video from last year which was highly amusing. At the end of the night we went back to the hall and bed.

Tuesday was our official last day of mini tour. Practiced and then went to Beverly. We were first on. The thing that sucked about the beginning was during the big toss in Amazing Grace, this huge gust of wind comes and the flags go flying... seriously now that I think about it, we must have looked halarious because we were all like running and diving for our flags. Show was okay for me. Could have been better. MY parents and sister came which was nice. Saw yaya! Tasha and amanda were with her too. Pat was there as well! Actually I saw a bunch of people there. Even saw Duka haha. Got to see the Cadet show close up... I like it... its really weird... and i love weird shows... I am still in love with Crown's show for sure. Got back to the hall around midnight and I drove to erin and meggys, and after eating some food and watching tv passed out.

Wednesday was supposed to be a beach day for us, but it ended up being really shitty out. Soooo I hung out with meggy and erin and later on jim stopped by and we all went out to eat. Then drove around for a bit and attempted to go to Copley Mall which didnt work out too well. Then I realize i dont have my phone. After seaching forever for it at the Renolds, I think it might have been in the bus at the hall, so me and jim drive all the way to the hall to find out its not there. So I'm pretty pissed already, so i just decide to go over my cousins for a bit in Stoughton. On the way home, I run into traffic that is backed up for like an hour and a half... so im like freaking out because im stuck in a car and i dont have my phone. Luckily when i get to my cousins i was able to calm down.

Thursday I'm hanging around the house and the phone rings. I look at the caller ID and I am wicked excited cuz its my phone. So I answer and im wicked happy and then i realize the guy who has my phone i can barely understand because his accent was so thick. He says that he is in jamaica plains and i can get my phone if i want. and im like WHAT? how the hell did my phone get all the way there. turns out he was at his friends apartment and that was across the street from the renolds. So im all confused when i hang up and im talking to meggy and she's like 'did he have an irish accent cuz hot irish guys live there!' which he did not and i was sad. few minutes later my phone calls again and this is DEFINATELY an irish guy calling. He was wicked nice and told my that when i went to the renolds again, i could call his apt and he'd bring the phone out to me. Sooo i had practice that night so when we get back I call him and he says that he will be out with the phone. So I go out to the apt with meggy so i wont get raped or anything and this HOT guy comes out. I seriuosly melted when he started talking too! Like at some points i was like um what did you say? cuz his irish accent was really strong but i didnt really care. He was like 'oh were you guys drunk and you lost it?' we were like no *giggle* but damn id get drunk with that kid! haha we were walking back ot the car after and meggy had to hold me back from running after him. So yes i have met my future husband! ;-)

So yes, what has been going on with my life lately..... ah yes not too much. lol I've been working a whole lot more lately. Last week I worked every day except for Wednesday. It sucks and the kids dont care but it is comforting to know that I have a tiny inkling of authority over these kids cuz I heard that the other girl on tuesday who had the same subbing job that I did on monday had things thrown at her. So I'm one up on that lol. I cannot wait for my paycheck to come in the mail. I have bills I have to pay!!

This weekend at ECJ was veeery hot. We had two parades. One was Saturday night in Quincy and the other was Bunker Hill on Sunday. Sundays parade was maaaaaad long. And there were tons of hills to go up. At least there wasnt a lot of sun. Still hot nontheless. Finiahed the show with the opener which is gonna be good. I'm wicked excited to put it all together, although I'm wicked nervous that our show is not this weekend but next. I'm gonna freak when we go out there lol.

Last night I had practice. I hate traffic. Its supposed to take me like 40 minutes to get to the practice site. With traffic however it takes me an hour and a half. I cant stand it grrrrr. Practice was good. We learned some neat dance moves for the opener. After practice a bunch of us went over jims. We had some beers and I kicked ass in a game of beer pong.... and lost miserably the second time. I had a lot to drink so I ended up passing out on the fouton thanks to some people helping me out. Either way, with the exception of at the end of the night I had a great time. The funniest part was when Monami (probably not how you spell her name) the girl who came to corps from Japan, looked at me and said 'hey you have big boobs' hahahahaha most amusing thing of the night. Woke up around 9ish, dropped erin and meggy off and then came home. Took a nap and then did some work for my mom. now ive just been chillin and not looking forward to working tomorrow. Oh wellllll

sooo people say i dont update anymore.... this is true haha

Lets see, my weekends have been taken up by ECJ which I love doing. Its a challange for me... considering I havent really been on flag too much outside and its pretty interesting learnign work and doing tons of tosses in the wind. I'm grateful that I was put on sabre for cotton club, I think i would have killed myself if I was doing all that mad scary rifle work lol.

School is over, and I got my grades, mad good i must say. I'm all proud of myself and stuff. We had our Color in the Cage performance a couple of weeks ago... that was the weekend we didnt have ECJ so that was cool that we didnt miss anything. Although practice all day Saturday was not fun at all because on Friday night Jim came up cuz he was going to his brother's graduation, we saw Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy with Kate, then I was going to be all good and go to bed but we decided on some beer and pizza.Then we ended up going to Morgan and Katies cuz there were a bunch of people there and so I shotgunned some beers before we left and then at 9H I got prompty SMASHED off my ass hahahaha. It was a good time.... well at least I think lol. Woke up the next morning feeling horrible, I think i was still kinda drunk.... just felt shitty all day and didnt eat until after practice at like 8pm when I went to Chilis with yaya, hottie and steve. The next day I was fine and the performance was good. I think I need to have more people from ecj come up and party at amherst next year hehe ;) (and jim claims I only made him cry twice so thats cool haha jk)

Ummmmm oh yeah two weekends ago, i ended up not going to ecj cuz I was mad sick. I was wicked pissed but I really didnt want to make myself sicker and be fucked for the finals. Turns out they learned the ballad drill AND changed all of the sabre work for cotton club. Yep I was fucked. The next weekend I was ready to cry cuz I was trying to remember my drill AND learn the sabre work..... soooo that was fun lol. Altho the nightly conversations with Erin and James about CS were definately a highlight hahahaha =D And also at like 3 in the morning my aerobed popped and I ended up sleeping on the floor.

When I got home, my mom was being really cool so we went out shopping for some nice clothes for subbing. I'm not really sure if i needed new clothes, but I'm not going to argue with her, shes paying =). We also got a new aerobed and it rocks! hehe. I get really excited over stupid things. On Tuesday I had my interview for subbing in Brockton. Not bad. After I went over to South Junior High where my dad works and he showed me where everything was. On Thursday I subbed for the first time! W00t! I think it went well. The kids surprise me tho. Like some kids just dont care how they do in middle school. It makes me want to scream at them 'THIS IS THE EASIEST ITS GONNA BE KIDS!' I mean, damn I used to get all As and shit in middle school, I was all hardcore about getting good grades lol. But oh well, they were all good for me so thats all I care about. I cant wait to start getting my paycheck.

This weekend was good. I got burned a little. Sucks. No matter how much sun block I put on, I'm always gonna get burned. Worked some more on sabre and learned the closer (la fiesta) drill. Put some flag work in it too and its gonna look soooo hot! Oh yeah I forgot, PATS BACK! yay! I'm all like 'yay people i know!' After practice today me and marlena went to old navy quickly to get shirts and then went to the hall to help work bingo. Bingo is like a big thing for ECJ thats where they get all their money. Oh man, I worked from like 5-8:30ish. Some people are like really hardcore about their bingo, it makes me laugh. Sooooo i drove home finally showered watched some of Titanic (yes i did say titanic) and now here I am. No school tomorrow. I hope I get a job on tues. Buuuut now im tired and I want to go read the fifth harry potter book (yes I said it) because I just got it and I am a huge dork and im gonna go read it so hah!

okay gotta vent before I go to bed.


what is wrong with guys? well, just a specific amount of guys, i dont want to offend lol. I mean seriously. What is it that makes certain guys have no idea how they come off to someone. Like when they invite you to dinner with some friends, and you end up talking more to his friend then him actually. WHAT THE HELL!! And why do i cling to him, why do I wait for him to come on at the same time everynight, so we can take turns IMing each other first. This is stupid!! Why did we hookup a couple times and then it was him who never wanted to do anything and stood me up, (which i would get the hint after each time) and then would be the one always IMing me and stuff. If he doesnt want to hang, why is he still talking to me?! Apparently he has the inability to just be friends. GOD WHAT THE HELL!!? grrrrrr. I need a distraction, a nice tall, skinny, pale guy. Gahhhh I wanted to cry so bad tonight, but i couldnt. What is wrong with me?

When I wear a tank top, it looks like i got beat up... well just on my arms lol. I hate the fact that I bruise so easily. I mean one of the worst bruises i have is just from continuous cradling with the sabre. So I havent written in a bit, I'll give the cliff notes version of the past two weeks.

Had camp with the whole corps last weekend. It was good. Crappy weather tho. Of all the days of the week, it decides to practically downpore SAturday and Sunday morning. Good weekend all together tho. I really enjoy hanging out with the people there.

Monday afternoon I went home and my mother and I went shopping at Target. She bought me some cool things and then went home. Tuesday I talked to my dad and he suggested that I substitute at his middle school in brockton for the remainder of the school year for $$ for the summer. Its a really good idea too because even though I have to deal with annoying middle schoolers... its like $70 a day, so I'm good with that. Went into Boston that night to the new opera house for Phantom of the Opera.... a couple days earlier my dad had gone to the box office to exchange my sister's ticket for an isle seat because of her knee being in the stabalizing contraption thingy, and the people were so awesome, that they changed all our seats so we could be together AND they put us in the third row. THIRD ROW! I felt like i was practically on stage! Oh man, the show was sooooo good!! I cant even explain it. Got back slept, and then went back to amherst early wednesday morning.

Nothing too exciting happened during the week. Camp again this weekend. I made the mistake of not taking a nap before I left, and it was terrible driving because I could definately feel myself trying to nod off. Practiced outside where I realized how much fun spinning outside it... haha man i hate wind. Saturday was rediculously rainy. Drill... was... confusing.... haha i felt sooo stupid. Anyways, had practice the rest of the day inside. I beat myself up with my sabre and it sucked... Parade on Sunday in Newport RI. Not too bad. Got back here a little later on, and passed out.

Today I was a huge slacker and only went to one of my classes. Registered online for housing again, ordered guard stuff online, called the bank and worked on my dot book. Also I'm on a mission to have some kind of muscle in my arms. I have never really had upper body strenth so I'm going to work on that hopefully every day. Also I'm making myself practice sabre every day so I dont kill myself ever weekend. In other exciting news... i only have 2 finals... but 2 final papers... so that should be interesting. lol.

This weekend is my "free" weekend. Altho not really because I have cage practice all Saturday and then cage performance on Sunday. Oh well, not like its gonna stop me from going out and partying those nights ;) Blarg, boys make me sad. And then watching sappy movies suck too. I dont know why i do that... i watch 'em get sad, and then im in a crappy mood. *sigh* oh well who knows what the future is gonna bring me right? Alright, i guess I should attempt sleep. Laterz all
